CindiAnn:
I chose a quilt because shelter and warmth are a need of all cultures. We try to welcome the children through comfort items such as quilts. The symbols on my quilt represent the way we try to make everyone feel welcome. The different colored figures and the wheelchair show the diversity of families we have. We use different lanuages, symbols and multicultural books. The butterfly represents the lifelong process of growth and development and how we try to address each child's nature individually. The heart and the globe represent developing universal relationships and having goodwill in your heart towards all enrolled families (698 days ago)
